Marketing Associate

Summary

This position is responsible for developing and preparing marketing content for both Intercare and Intermed. In addition, this position will assist with proposal development for new and renewal business and support sales and marketing efforts to promote the lntercare & Intermed brands in the market place. As a member of the support team, will assist the Chief Revenue Officer with administrative tasks as assigned. Work collaboratively with the Proposal Writer providing assistance and back up as may be needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Work with the Business Development Team to develop a marketing approach and content for social media platforms .i.e. LinkedIn, etc.
    • Develop and collect blog/podcast article content.
    • Work with business development staff and account management staff to develop specific marketing efforts for the Company’s individual lines of business including the development of collateral, brochures etc.
    • Work with Leadership Team to transition and maintain current marketing functions in house.
    • Assist with power point presentations in support of sales and account management efforts.
    • Work with Subject Matter Experts in developing and managing content for quarterly newsletter “Intercare Insights”.
    • Schedule and possibly attend industry trade shows.
    • Complete the marketing collateral in Qvidian and update whenever there is a change in the process or whenever the need arise.
    • Assist with the completion & assembly of proposals and similar documents in response to RFPs and other solicitation of services from prospects or existing business in a renewal mode.
    • Maintain an archive of all proposals.
    • Assist with maintenance of a prospect database/sales pipeline, including prospective contract’s expiration date.
    • Provide a monthly report that identifies proposals completed, proposals in progress and new RFPs that will require a response.
    • Assist with prospective account data mining through telemarketing.
    • Maintain sales contact data base in Hubspot.
    • Coordinate an email marketing campaign through Hubspot.
    • Oversee RFP search engines to ensure that Intercare is involved in appropriate sales and proposal opportunities.
    • Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.

    Executive Support

    • Provide support to the Chief Revenue Officer.
    • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

  • This position requires excellent writing skills and strong experience with various Microsoft products including “Word, Excel and “Power Point”.
  • The ability to coordinate several projects while delivering within mandated time lines is also critical.
  • The candidate must have an understanding of the claims and managed care business or willingness to learn the claims business in an accelerated fashion.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. An associate degree or higher and some knowledge of California Worker’s Compensation and medical terminology preferred.
